These are the special customs within the tribe. It would do well to learn them. The tribe offers a lot of freedom and individuality that many may not find elsewhere. For a full list of characters, please visit the Characters page.
Please note, these are not formally recognized ranks on Ethereal, as this is not an official pack by any means, but is a nomadic tribe group.
Ranks
These are the basic ranks within the tribe.
Regent
The regent serves as the leading and guiding force within the tribe. They make the final decisions and the laws within the tribe. The Regent is to be held with the utmost respect at all time. It is their will whether someone may be permitted into the tribe… or banished. The Regent works with the Lead Shaman to determine the will of the Mother, Mutei.
The Regent, historically, has been a role that has been passed down from parent to child.
Heirs
These are the seconds within the tribe, often the siblings of the regent. They assist in giving heirs to the tribe, and assisting the Regent for whatever they need.
Historical reference: At one time, this rank was called “Sire / Siren”. Since the departure to Amethyst Haven from Ethereal years ago, this rank was changed.
Lead Shaman
The Shaman not only serves as the main healer for the tribe, but is also a spiritual guide. It is stated that the Shaman has a special connection with the Mother and is able to interpret her will. The Shaman often has a leading role in rituals.
Lead Trapper
The trapper leads all hunting plans and hunting parties. The trapper oversees the hunters, guiding them and helping get food for the tribe. They are well versed in the rituals around prey and have a deep respect for the hunt. They only hunt out of necessity, and they teach the trappers to do so as well.
Lead Guard
The lead guard is much like a warrior chief. They are the main protector of the tribe, and are most often guarding the Regent and Heirs.
Shaman’s Apprentice
The Shaman’s Apprentice works directly under the Shaman to learn and be guided by them. They will learn the ways of the rituals and how to decipher signs from the Mother.
Members
This is the core of the tribe. Many members serve in various roles, including as healers, warriors, and hunters.
- Healers – These members have a specialty toward healing.
- Guardians – These members have a specialty toward fighting and work directly with the lead guard.
- Trappers These members have a specialty toward hunting and work directly with the Lead Trapper.
